Crystal Springs Campground on Lake Ouachita is 16.8 miles west of
Hot Springs,
Arkansas on Highway 270W, then 1.5 miles north on
Crystal Springs Road .
Crystal Springs consists of 74 sites, 52 have water and electric hookups.
Campsites open year round.
On the 1st of January 2012,
the
Friends of Lake Ouachita will assume the management of the
Crystal Springs Recreation Area.
Crystal Springs campground reservations have been placed on hold
until January 1st, 2012.

Crystal Springs campsites have concrete
tables, ground grills, pedestal grills, lantern posts and shaded sites.
Two
sites (# 22and # 73) are handicap accessible.
Heated Bath houses have flush toilets, potable water and
hot showers .
A playground, dump station, fish cleaning station, boat ramp,
playground, pavilions (2) and a swim beach are nearby.
There is a Day-use are with public beach and picnic tables amphitheater, hiking trail, mountain bike
trail just outside the camping area.

Crystal Springs campground reservations must be made at least 3 days in advance.

Crystal Springs requires a 2 night minimum stay on weekends and a 3 night minimum stay on holidays.

It does have first-come, first-served sites. Sites are $8-$10/night for tent sites and $12-$14/night for electric sites.

A park attendant operates the fee booth during the reservation season.

No ATVs allowed in campground.
Nearby Crystal Springs Resort has a Marina with a bait and gift shop, restaurant, kitchenettes, lakefront cabins,14-room lodge with meeting facilities. Pontoon, ski and fishing boats, personal watercraft plus houseboats rentals available.
