Many fish in the 50 pound class have been caught and a 61.10 striper is the current record for the area.

For a better chance to catch a Trophy Striped
Bass (30+ pounds)
November thru Early May is better April being prime time.
For large Numbers of Fish June thru October is good. Of course Large
trophies and large numbers can happen at any time.
On a July Afternoon a 46, two 41's, a 38 along with several 20
-25 pound stripers were caught on topwater lures.
The winter months are
very good.
On a December trip, 12 stripers were caught all on top water
weighing over 360 pounds.
