Lake Ouachita State Park is located on the
east end of Lake Ouachita, approximately 12 miles from Hot Springs.
Seven fully-equipped cabins with kitchens overlook Lake Ouachita. Including lakeside
sites, the park's campgrounds include
117 campsites [Premium, Preferred, Class A, Class
B (no hookups) and Walk-in Tent sites.
Other park facilities include picnic areas; trails; a swimming area and marina with boat
rentals, bait and supplies. The visitor center includes exhibits and a store.
From Hot Springs, travel three miles west on U.S. 270, then 12 miles north on Ark. 227.
The state park also features historic
Three Sisters' Springs.

270W, then 6.1 miles north on Brady Mountain Road.
Campsite description: Concrete table, ground grill, pedestal grill,

miles west of Hot Springs on Highway 270W, then 1.5 miles north on Crystal Springs
Road.
Campsite description: Concrete table, ground grill, pedestal grill,
lantern post, shade.
Amenities: Flush toilets, potable water, showers, boat ramp, trailer dump
station, swim beach (2), fish cleaning station, handicap accessible sites (# 22 and #
73).

Joplin - 65 campsites
Location: 24.3 miles west
of Hot Springs on Highway 270W, then 1.9 miles north on Mountain Harbor Road.
Campsite description: Concrete table, ground grill, pedestal grill,
lantern post, shade. Campsites are not level and caution is advised while
establishing camp. *Not recommended for large trailers, large RVs or
units with slide outs*

north on Denby Road.

amphitheater, trailer dump station, fish cleaning station, swim beach, playground, picnic

$8 to $10 per night (November 1-February 28)

Stephens Park - 9 campsites
Location: At base of Blakely Mountain Dam on Lake Hamilton.
Campsite description: Concrete table, ground grill, pedestal grill,

Amenities: Flush toilet, potable water, playground, pavilion.
Nearby facilities: Picnic area, pay phone, laundry mat, dairy bar,
boat ramp, Spillway Recreation Area (swim beach, group camp, picnic area, pavilion).

Location: From Mt Ida, go north on Highway 27 approximately 4.7
miles. Turn right on highway 188 heading east. Drive approximately 8 miles to
the Little Fir Resort entrance. Turn right into campground.
Campsite Information: Concrete table, ground grill, pedestal grill,
lantern post, water hook-up, shade.
Amenities: Flush toilets, boat ramp, fish cleaning station, trailer
dump station, group camp and no shower.

Lena Landing - 10 campsites
Location: From Mt Ida, go north on Highway 27 approximately 12.4
miles. At Storey, turn right onto highway 298. Travel east approximately 27.5
miles. Turn right onto Lena Landing Road. Travel south approximately 1.2
miles. Cross the wooden bridge then turn left into campground.
Amenities: Boat launch ramp, flush toilet, dump station, potable water,
marina facilities, marine fuel, restaurant and no shower.

Twin
Creek - 15 campsites

Location: From Mt Ida, travel east on Highway 270W approximately 8.8
miles. At Silver, turn left onto Twin Creek Road. Travel north approximately 1
mile to the campground entrance.
Campsites: Concrete table, ground grill, pedestal grill, lantern
post, shade.
Amenities: Flush toilet, potable water, boat ramp, pit toilet, swim
beach, overflow camping (major holidays only).
Nearby facilities: Condominiums, bait shop, pay phone and no
shower.
Fees:
$9 to $12 per night (March 1-October
31)

All campsites are non-reserve and are available as first come-first serve.

Lake Ouachita Day Use Fee Areas
11 Boat Launching Ramps are available.
5 Swimming Beaches are available:
$3 per day to use a boat launching ramp
$1 per day per person to use a swimming beach, maximum $4 per vehicle per day.
Fee: $1 per person per day (ages 12 and up).
Persons with Golden Age or Golden Access cards 50% off.
Fee season: Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day Weekend.
Annual Pass for Day User Fees - $30
Lake Ouachita Special Use Facilities
Lake Ouachita has six (6) pavilions available for group functions.
A $30 per day reservation fee is charged for each on weekdays (Monday-Friday) and $40-$50
per day on Saturday & Sunday.
They are located at the following locations: Stephens Park, Avery, Spillway, Brady
Mountain and Crystal Springs (2). A reservation is recommended for each pavilion and may
be made by calling 501-767-2101 Ext 3002 (Monday-Friday 7 am - 3:30 pm cst).
